Use A4 paper, portrait orientation and single-sided printing. Choose “Fit to printable area”. Most sheets work in black and white; two tracing sheets have small colour illustrations. Use child-safe scissors with grown-up help for the cutting activities.

What will children discover in Into the Jungle?
Ivan and Toby meet a monkey, a parrot and a snake in this first Ivan Explorer adventure. The episode pairs the animals with their starting letters: M for monkey, P for parrot and S for snake. Children are invited to say words, respond to questions and join in with movement.
Counting and colour spotting are also part of the adventure, with black, blue, red, orange and yellow among the colours introduced. Children can try a monkey jump, a parrot flap or a snake-like wriggle. Make a clear space and choose movements that feel comfortable for your child.

These are optional ideas for watching together or chatting afterwards, not a quiz. Give your child time to point, gesture or answer in their own way.

Bring the jungle story onto the page
The book activities below are suggestions for continuing the episode’s themes. Choose one that interests your child; there is no need to complete the whole book.
Find a familiar animal
Use the animal colouring pages on pages 3-6. Name the monkey, parrot or snake, then choose colours for its picture. The colours can be realistic or entirely imaginative.
Try a trail or count
Follow the tracing lines on pages 7-8 with a finger first. On page 10, point to the numbered dots around the parrot and count from 1 to 10 together.
Build and create
Put the animal picture pieces together from page 11, or decorate the spiral snake on page 12. A grown-up should help with scissors and supervise the cutting.
For a short activity at home or in an early years setting, offer one A4 sheet and a few crayons. Let your child choose a favourite animal and tell you something about their picture.

What age is this adventure for?
The YouTube description recommends the episode for ages 3-6. The companion book is designed for ages 3-7, with a choice of simpler colouring sheets and activities that need more adult help. Pick a task to suit your child rather than treating the age range as a test.
Is the activity book free?
Yes. You can download the 12-page Jungle Adventures PDF without signing up. It includes a cover, a parent guide and 10 activity sheets.
Do we need to watch the whole video first?
No. You can use the sheets on their own, pause the video for a conversation or return to an activity later. The video and book offer two ways to explore the same jungle theme.
Which paper size should I choose?
Choose A4 for a standard UK printer, or US Letter if that matches your paper. Both downloads contain the same activities and retain the original British English labels. Print a single sheet or the whole book, using “Fit to printable area”.
Do I need special craft materials?
Pencils or crayons are enough for most pages. The two cutting activities need scissors and grown-up help. Keep loose cut pieces away from younger children.
